Whereas John Smith servant to John Bound of this County was brought before y Cort: this Day to have his age
judged y said John Smith Comeing into this province without indenture after a full veiw had & taken by y Justi

Sommrsett Ss:John Jenckins of Sommersett County was attached to answr untoThomas Walker in a plea yt hee render eight
hundred & four pounds of Tobacco which to him hee owes & unjustly Deteines./. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
And whereupon y said Thomas Walker for himselfe saith yt the said John Jenckins became indebted unto him
y said Thomas y just Summe or quantity of eight hundred & four pounds of Tobacco being Due by bill & accot-
is here in Cort: produced will more plainely appear but hee y Said John fraudulently intending to deceive y Said
Thomas of y Sd 804lb of Tobacco denyeth & still doth to pay the same although often thereunto required the plt
saith hee is Damnified & hath Damadge to y value of 1800lb of Tobacco & hereupon brings his Suit . / : ~ ~
And this Day to witt y 8th Day of august Ao: Dom: 1676: Came John Jenckins in his owne proper person & Did
acknowledge before y Cort: yt hee owed eight hundred & four pounds of Tobacco to Tho:Walker & thereupon this
Cort orders yt John Jenckins pay unto Thomas Walker or his order eight hundred & four pounds of Tobacco in Casq
with Cost of Suit alias Execucon ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Sould unto mr Thomas Walker vizt Two black Cowes namely Cole & Leker with two Calves by theire Sides
also one three yeare ould black Steere with a White Starr in his forehead being marked as vizt Cropt of both
Eares & holed of both eares upper bitted of y right & under bitted of y Left alsoe one Red bull with a Short taile
alsoe a black heifer of two yeare & upward these Sd Cattle with their increase I acknowledge to bee y proper goods of
y aforesaid Thomas Walker gentl as wittness my hand & seale this 8th Day of august Annoq Dom: 1676:
