Bee it Knowne unto all men by these Presents that wee James Braynes of Rattcliffe in ye County
& Richard Angell of ratcliffe aforesaid mariner
of Middlesex Marcht Samuell Groome the elder of Ratclife aforesaid Mariner^ Doe hereby assigne
ordaine Authorize Constitute & in our Stead & places Doe put appointe & depute our Loving frind
Samuell Greene the Younger of Ratclife aforesaid mariner to be our true & Lawfull Attorney -
for us & in our names & to our owne proper use & behoofe to aske demand & require sue for
recover and receive, All Such debts dutyes Summe and Summes of money Marchandizes
Tobacco money due and to be due upon bill of exchange and all other Demands whatsover -
as now are or hereafter Shall be due payable or belonging or to be delivered unto us or any of us by
or from any person or persons whatsoever in Maryland or else where in America And for
default of payment or delivery of any Summe of money parcell or parcells of tobacco or other
things to us due or to be due or belonging to use all Lawfull wayes & meanes for recovery
thereof by accon Sute Arrest bill plaint Attachment or other wise as fully and ample in every
respect as wee our Selves might or Coulld doe if wee were personally present & to Sue implead (meake)
answr prosecute & defend in any Court or Courts of Law or Equity and before any Judges or Justices
in any Suite matter or Cause with us for us or against us as the Cause Shall require & to deale
& Intermeddle in all accons Suites affaires and bussnesses any wayes Touching or Concerning
us as our Agent or factor or otherwise giveing & by these presents grannting unto our Said
Attorney full & whole & Lawfull Authoritie in the execucon of all & Singular the Premisses
& to substitute & appointe one or more Attorney or Attorneys in any of y premisses & the same
againe at his pleasure to revoake, And to make & give any acquittance release or discharge upon
y recovery and receipt of any Debt Sume or Summes of money or other thing whatsoever
as the Cause Shall require, And generally to say doe execute Compound Conclude agree-
determine & finish all & every other Act and Acts thing & things whatsoever within or about
y premises Shall be requisitt or needfull to be had made or done & that in as large ample
manner and as fully and efectually to all intents & purposes as wee our Selves might
ought or Coulld if wee were present in our owne Proper persons, rattefieing allowing for firm effectuall
and Irevocable all & whatsoever our Said Attorney Shall doe or Cause to be don in or about the
Premisses by virtue of these presents In witnes whereof wee the said James Braynes Samuell
Groome the elder And Richard Angell have hereunto Sett our hands & Seales the seaventeenth
