I underwritten doe acknowledge to have ~~rec^d~~ Soulld unto Allexander Jemison one man Servant by
name John Chansler & doe assigne over all my right and Title in the Said Servant for the terme
of foure years beginning the Tenth day of october 1672 as wittness my hand & Seale 30^th day of

And Abigall Harringdon pay unto Richard Kemball or his order Two hundred pounds

Whereas Abigall Haringden was presented by the Grand Enquest for bearing a bastard Chilld She
appeares before the board & acknowledgeth her Selfe guilty & Saith the ffather of y^e Chilld is John
Chansellour who appeares before the board & ownes the same whereupon this Co^rt orders that y
said John Chancellour & Abigall Harringdon have Twenty Lashes apeece well laid on
upon the bare back; w^ch was executed accordingly ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Whereas George Holland was presented by the grand Enquest for beating a Servant maid of W^m
Greene w^ch: never Spake after; Michaell Williams & Richard Brittaine were examined upon
oath on the behalfe of the Lord Prop:^ty & nothing was made appeare, This Co^rt orders That a tryall
be the next County Co^rt & y^t W^m: Greene be summoned to y next Co^rt on y^e behalfe of y^e Lord Prop^ty

Whereas Thomas Poole recovered by way of Attachm^t ag^t John Body the summe of one Thousand

The Said Thomas Poole doth here in Co^rt: Acknowledge to have rec^d of m^r W^m Stevens the said one
Thousand pounds of Tobacco attached in his hands of John Bodys

of y^e Lord Prop:^ty And the Co^rt findeing nothing of Proofe from the Evidences The Said George Johnson was
