8	Sommersett Ss  Daniell Quillane Late of Sommersett County was Summoned to answer

				  unto George Phebus in an accon of the Case upon Accompt &c

		And whereupon the said George for himselfe saith that y sd: Daniell in y yeare

		1674 Did take up of him severall goods to y quantity of ffoure hundred ninety

Intrat agt: Janr:	& five pounds of tobacco & Caske as pr accot: here in Cort: produced doth appeare

 Cort: 1674	to be paid upon Demand Convenient in Morumsco Creeke unto y aforesaid

		George Phebus or his order yet y sd: quantity of 495lb: tob & Caske though often

		Demanded hath not paid but the same to pay alltogether Denyes to the

		Dammadge & Losse of y said George to y vallue of 990lb: of tobacco and

		Sommersett Ss  Robert Hignet of this County planter was summoned to answer

				  unto George Day in A plea of Debt &c ; / ;   ~       ~        ~       ~

		And whereupon the said George Day for himselfe saith yt the sd: Robert upon

		the 7th: day of June in y yeare of or: Lord God 1673 by bill or writing obligatory

		Sealed with the Seale of him the sd: Robert & here in Cort: produced whose date

		is y Day & yeare abovesaid Did Confesse & Acknowledge himselfe to owe

Intrat agt: Janr:	and Stand indebted unto y Sd: George in the Just summe or quantity of

 Cort: 1674	Six hundred & twelve pounds of good sound marchantable tobacco In Caske

		to be pd: at y dwelling house of y said Robert at or upon the 10th: day of october

		next ensueing the Date of y sd: bill to y which payment he did binde

		himselfe his heires executors: & admrs: yet the sd: Robert the sd: summe

		to 612lb: tobacco to him the sd: George according to his sd: bill though often

		thereunto requested hath not paid or satisfied but the same to pay or

		satisfie hath hetherto denyed & refused & Still doth deny & refuse to

		pay the same to y greate Dammadge of y sd: George whereupon he saith

		he is the worst & hath Losse to y vallue of 1212lb: of tobacco & thereupon he
