Sommersett Ss   John Makin Late of this County planter was summoned

         7			   to answer unto Andrew Whittington in an accon of y Case

		And whereupon the said Andrew for himselfe saith that y said John

		this present yeare 1674 Did take up of him to y vallue of one hundred

		seaventy pounds of tobacco in goods as pr accot: here in Cort: produced doth

		appeare to be paid at or upon the tenth day of october last past Conveniente

Intrat agt: Janr:	in Morumsco Creeke unto y aforesaid Andrew or his order yett y sd:

 Cort: 1674	quantity of 170lb: tob: though often Demanded hath not paid but the same to

		pay altogether denyes to y Dammadge & Losse of the sd: Andrew to y vallue of

			        Answer unto Josias Seaward in A plea of Debt &c ; / ;  ~       ~        ~      ~

		And whereupon y sd: Josias for himselfe saith that the said George became Indebted

		unto y sd: Josias the Just quantity of Three hundred & fifty pounds of good Sound

		marchantable tobacco in Caske in this present yeare 1674 to be pd: at or upon y tenth day

  Cort: 1674	and admrs: as pr his bill signed with y hand & Sealed with the Seale of him the

		Sd: George & here in Cort: produced doth more plainely appeare yet the sd: summe

		of 350lb: of tob: & Caske though often demanded hath not paid or satisfied where

		upon the Sd: Josias saith he is Damnified & hath Losse to y vallue of 700lb: tob: &
