To the worpll: Commrs: of Somersett County
Humbly Sheweth That Saunder ffurbish of this County Came -
to my house the tenth day of March and with him -
brought a young Chilld Desiering me to keepe it awhile -
and he woulld allowe us maintenance for it but he
basely and unnaturall to his Chilld is gon and know -
not where and hitherto wee have maintained it Soe
well as wee Can although to a great deale trouble &
Charge Soe yt wee are not able to keepe it any longer -
Crave therefore the worpll: bench to take it into theire
Serious Consideracon and grant us an order to be
released from it or else a maintenance for wee have
neither Corne meale nor milk.
