William Tompson Commeth and defendeth himselfe
And saith that as farr as he knowes the said Ricr: Pomfrey
is now in this County and humbly prayes for A refference

Whereas ffrancis Price Came into this County out of Accomack
County in Virga: & was lately delivered here of A bastard
Chilld At the Plantacon of Richard Chambers This Cort:
ordrs: that She Depart this County within Twenty dayes
with her bastard Chilld Otherwise the said Ricr: Chambers
to give in Security for the said ffrancis Prices good
behaviour as also for to save this County harmles
from any Chardge that is now or may hereafter
happen by reason of the said Bastard Chilld borne
of the body of the said ffrancis Price; The sd:
Richr: Chambers ingageth in open Cort: to be bound in
the summe of 10lb: Sterl according to y ordr: past if y sd:
ffrancis & her bastard remayne in this County above 20 dayes
