18 This ffollowing letter and Letter of Attorney was delivered
in open Cort: by Stephen Bond to be recorded mr: Randall Revell
being then there ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Boston the 24th: zbr 1670
Honored freind Mr: Revell
Sr: My reall intents was to see you face to face this winter but
providence hath prevented me for my body brought so low
by A violent Cold which I took about ten dayes agoe & it
brought me into a feaver and Ague fitts so that I am not
Capable of Comeing at present therefore hand made bold
to be troublesome this once Craveing you: favourable assistance
in the pr:misses which are as ffoll: I have Sent you A letter
of Attorney whereby you have full power to Sell the plantacon
Stephen Bond is come over on purpose to Sitt downe himselfe
and expecteth one Mr: Mureells from Barbadoes to buy my
halfe which if he doe and will give A Competant price and
make good pay Lett him have it I Judge it may be worth
tenn thousand pounds of tobacco Stock and all that belongs
to it but if I mist it I leave it to yor: Discretion to moderate
as you See meete there is A young man of Boston that hath
been treating with me about it and if he have an opportunity
he will Come over and See it his name is Ephraim Turner
he bid me forty pounds in money for it if he like it when
he Sees it if he Comes and Likes of it Lett him give you
good Security for y payment of the forty pounds in money
here in Boston and give him A Conveyance for the one halfe
of the whole not of any perticular part except Stephen
Bond the party buying Doe agree to devide and if incase
neither
