This Indenture bearing date the 24th: Day of January
one Thousand Six hundred Seaventy and one By and Between
Cornelius Johnson of the river of Pocomoke in the County of
Sommersett in the Province of Maryland mariner of the one pty
And Thomas Mathew of Cherypoynt in the County of North
umberland in Virginia Marchant of the other party Doe Wittnes
That the said Cornelius for A valuable Consideracon in hand
received wherewith he Doth hereby acknowledge himselfe to be pd:
and Satisfied and thereof doth fully acquitt him the said Thomas
his heires executors: and administrators: , hath bargained aliened
made over and Sold and doth by these presents bargaine alien
make over Sell and enffeoffe unto him the said Thomas
one Certaine tract of Land Containing two hundred acres or
thereabouts Lyeing upon the north Side of Pocomoke river butted
and bounded as by one bill of sale that is upon the record in
the Cort: of the County of Sommersett aforesd: (which Said Land
he now is in Actuall possession of and doth dwell upon) togethr:
with one Small dwelling house and one tobacco house and houses y
that are upon the same And alsoe one Sloope Called the Shepherd
with all her Apparell and ffurniture and one boate which
said Sloope and boate was lately Sold by the said Thomas unto
the said Cornelius; To have and to hold to him the said
Thomas his heires executors: administrators: and assignes
for ever all the said tract of Land and every parcell thereof
together with all the houses thereupon and all other advanta
ges Immunities or priviledges being Standing or growing
in or upon the same or any waies at present accrewing or
appertaining
