107 To all people to whome these presents Shall come Ambrose
London of Sommersett County in the province of Maryland
& Mary his wife send greeting in our Lord God everlasting
Know yee that whereas Caecilius Absolute Lord and
Proprietary of this province of Maryland and Avalon
Lord Baron of Baltemore &c by his pattents under the
great Seale of this Province both bearing date the thirtieth
day of July in the seaven & thirtieth year of his Dominion
over the said Province Ao: Do: 1668 Did grante unto me
the said Ambrose London by the name of Ambrose London
of the County of Sommersett in the province of Maryland
plantor two parcells of Land, vizt one Called Teags
Downe Lyeing on the east Side of Chesepeacke Bay,
in the County aforesaid upon a pointe, or neck of Land Lyeing
betwixt Anamessicks river & Manoakin river it being near
to Manoakin river at the westermost Side of a Creeke called
ffurnisses Creeke near the mouth thereof beginning for
bredth at the westermost end of the said ridge or homack
at A markt pine & from thence running north & by west
to a markt pine twenty seaven perches & from the said
pine running for Length northeast forty eight perches to a markt
pine, & from thence east & by north thirty eight perches to
a markt pine; & from thence south & by east twenty seaven
perches for bredth to a markt red oake & from the said red
oake with a Line Drawne paralell to the other Lines according
to the points aforesaid till it come within eighteene
perches
