68 The Same Day Commrs as affore
Whereas Anne Carre was attached by the Grand Jury of Enquest
(to answer the Suite of the Lord Proprietary) for bearing of
a bastard Chilld being Contrary to Act of Assembly in Such Cases
the said Anne Carre appeares before the board & Acknowledgeth
the fact & saith it is Edward Hassards Chilld, who appeares
& ownes himselfe to be the ffather of the Sd: Chilld begotten on
the body of Anne Carre; Judgemt: referd untill to morrows
& ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The Same Day Commrs: as afore
Whereas Thomason Hart was attached by the Grand Jury of
Enquest (to answer the Suite of the Lord Proprietary) for bearing
of A bastard Chilld being Contrary to Act of Assembly in
Such Cases ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The said Thomason Hart being Called three times doth not
appeare The Courte being informed She was Sick & not able
to come ordered that She appeare the next County Cort: ~

The plt: being Called three times doth not appeare
The deft: appeares & Craves A nonsuite ~ ~
The Cort: upon mature deliberacon & Consideracon referd the
hearing of the Cause untill to morrow

The bands of matrimoney were published betweene John
Harrison & Judith Godfrey both of this County Certificett 2d: ffeb

The banes of matrimoney were published betweene John Walker
& Rachell Moody both of this County; But John ffreeman
in the behalfe of Rachell Moody underwrited in these words
Rachell Moody hath nothing to Say to John Walker in the way
of matrimony therefore itt of noe effect. ~ ~
