Sommersett County Ss John Rhodes Senr: late of Sommersett County was
Attached to answere to what Shoulld be alleadged against
him by Charles vincent in the behalf of y Lord Proprietary
And whereupon the said Charles Vincent by Thomas Jones
his Attorney Complaines that he the said John Rhodes evilly
intending Did on the five & twentieth day of october in the nine
& thirtieth year of the Dominion of Caecilius &c take Convey &
Carry away A bote of right belonging to the Lord Proprietary
from the tobacco house of Henry Bishop of Pocotonorton, refuseing
to return the sd: bote or make Satisfacon therefore to the Lord Propy:
whereupon the said Charles Vincent in the behalfe of the Lord
Proprietary Craves that the said John Rhodes may putt in Security
to this Court, to answer all such Damage & losse (and alsoe to
Counterveile the worth of the bote) as Shall happen to arrive upon the
Accoumpt of the said bote Secureing the said Charles vincent in
whose possession (before the takeing away) the said bote was from
the rigour of the Law otherwise it will accrew much to the Damage of
the sd: plaintiff whereupon he Complaines & Justly brings this suite &c
