40 Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Walker
of Sommersett County in the province of Maryland for Divers
Causes & Consideracons me thereunto moving have Constituted
& appointed & in my place & Stead putt & by these presents
doe Constitute & appointe & Authorize & in my place & Stead
put my Loving frind James Weedon of the County & province
aforesd: gent: to be my true & Lawfull Attorney (Irrevocably)
for me & in my name to make over & acknowledge in any
Cort: of records within the province of Maryland by Conveyance
or other Deedes that Shall be thought necessary unto Walker
Powell of the province & County aforesaid three parcells or
Devidents of Land, vizt, one parcell of Land for three hundred
acres called Greenefeild one for one hundred called Middle
both wch: bearing date by pattent the 20th: July 1668 & one
called the exchange of one hundred acres bearing date the 2d:
August Ao: Do: 1668 wch: three parcells of Land were pattent
for one Robt Jones & by Deedes made over to me Thomas
Walker yt in all five hundred acres; & what that this my
foresaid attorney James Weedon doth in any further Act
or Acts thing or things requisite to be don in relacon to y
premises Shall be in as ample manner & ffactually in every
respect as I my Selfe might doe the Same if I were personally
pr:sent ratiefieing allowing & Confirming all & whatsoever my
Sd: attorney Shall doe or Cause to be don in y pr:mises for Confirmacon
whereof I the Sd: Thomas Walker doe here by bind my Selfe
my heires executors & admrs firmly by these presents In
Wittnes Whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand & Seale this
