31 white oake itanding on the mouth thereof & from there
running up the said Creeke forty perches bounded on the
south by a Line drawne westsouthwest from the end of the
former Line for Length six hundred & thirty perches
to A Creeke Called Balls Creeke bounded on the west by
the said Creeke Called Balls Creeke bounded on the
north by the sound or bay of the river of Wiccocomoco -
aforesaid, Together with all Liberties & Privilidges
in as ample manner as it to him the said Ball granted
by Pattent from the Right hon:ble Caecilius Lord
Proprietary of Maryland bearing date the six day of
Aprill Ao: Do: 1667 To have and to hold the
said Land with the appurtenances and every part
& parcell thereof unto him the said Thomas Brereton
his heires & assignes for ever; And the said Thomas
Ball doth by these presents for himselfe his heires executors
& administrators: & to & for every & either of them Co
venant promise grante and agree to and with the
said Thomas Brereton his heiries executors: & administrators
that the said Land and every part thereof now is and
from time to time and att all times after Shall be &
remayne free & Cleare, & freely & Clearly acquitted
& dischardged from all & all manner of Joyntures Dower
titles of Dower, Judgemts Statutes Mortgages former
Grantes Claimes or demands & incumbrances, whatsoever
of any manner of person or persons whatsoever to
him
