This Indenture made the tenth day of July in the
year of or: Lord one thousand six hundred & seaventy
Betweene Thomas Ball of the County of Sommersett
in the Province of Maryland on the one party And
Thomas Brereton gent, of the County of Northumberland
on the other partie; Wittnesseth That the said Thomas
Ball for and in Consideracon of three thousand pounds of
tobacco & Caske in hand received, with which he the
said Thomas doth acknowledge himselfe fully Satisfied
& paid hath granted bargained Sold infeofed alliened
& Confirmed, And by these presents doth grant bargain
Sell infeofe Alliene & Confirme unto the said Thomas
Brereton, A parcell of Land Called Dame quarter Con
] taining one hundred & fifty acres of Land more or
Lesse; Scituate Lying & being upon the east Side of
Chesepeack bay on the southermost Side or pointe of Wico
comoco river beginning for bredth at the westermost
side of A Creeke Called Williamsons Creeke at a marked
white
