This ffollowing writing was produced in Co^rt: by Cornelius ffarth-
who desired the Co^rt: to take the deposicons of m^r: William Stevens
& m^r: James Weedon which was granted the writing in these words

I -- der to heare that you refuse payment of the thousand pounds
of tobacco due to m^rs: Anna Hack for transportacon up the bay
which you acknowledged before me about foure years agoe
to be due you knowe they were preindiced otherwise it hath
bin Long forborne and now to offer to pay it with A denyall
is unworthy, but I hope I have bin misinformed pray
doe what is honest, this with my love remembered I rest

Philllip Berre personally appeares before the Co^rt: & bringeth
his Servant Hopkin Williams the S^d: Phillip Berre Complaines
that he runs away from him soe that he is Damnified through
his neglect & Carelessnes; After examinacon of the said
Hopkin Williams the Court found that he had absented himself
unlawfully from his masters Imploym^t: (by his owne
Confession) twelve dayes; whereupon the Co^rt: orders that
the s^d: servant Hopkin Williams doe serve his said Master
Phillip Berre or his assignes one hundred and twenty days
over and above his Service due to his said master; / ;
