184 The Same Day Commrs: as afore
Whereas John Devorex was ordered by the last Cort: to
appeare this Cort: to answer what Shoulld be alleadged
in the behalf of the Lord Proprietary appeares before
the board. Robt Johnson being summoned by Subpa:
appeares & is Sworne Saith
I Search at John Devorex house & found a Chest & (Several?)
other od things & at Ben: Lawrence I found three yards
of kersey an old Chest an old box & A rundlett at
Robert Richardson three or foure pcs of wearing Linnen
for neckclcs: And I & Tho: Willis found upon the Shore
three Iron balls And there was a boate at John Devorex
Landing & A parcell of Dutchmen said they knewe
the boat ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
After examinacon had the Cort: ordrs: the Dissmissmt:
of the said John Devorex paying Chardges ; ~ ~
The Sherrife Complaines that John Devorex hath Sold
a boate belonging to y Lord Proprietary; ordered that the
said John Devorex give in Security that the boate bee
forthcomeing Thomas Purnell in open Cort: doth
Acknowledge himselfe to be Security for John Devorex
That the boat Shall be forthcomeing. ; / ; ~ ~
