175 Aforesaid and upon the Back of the foresaid John
Pike ; ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
And Charles Rattliefe & Thomas Osborne aforesd:
made it appeare to the Cort: that they were Stolen
from them ; ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
And the said John Pike not makeing it appeare
who he had the said goods of but haveing
Confessed upon examinacon before two of his
Lopps: Justices that he had taken them away
in the night time himselfe ~ ~ ~
The said John Pike referred himselfe to the
Courte ; ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Wherefore the Cort: Judged him Guilty of Petty
Larsony ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
And thereupon ordered him to have thirty Lashes
upon the bare back well laid on ~ ~ ~
The Sherrife Caryes John Pike from the Court
to receive his punishment And is executed
According to order ~ ~ ~ ~
The Sherrife brings the said John Pike againe
before the board ~ ~ ~ ~
And the Cort: orders that he bound to his good
behaviour ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
