present mr: Henry Smith : Capta: Will Colebourne Commrs
mr: George Johnson : mr: Charles Ballard
The Sherrife brings before the Cort: John Pike
Living at Matapaney in this County ~ ~ ~ ~
Whome Charles Ratliefe and Thomas Osborne ~
Charged with Stealing from them in the month of
June Last past Six mens Shifes two womens Shifes
two Little boyes Shifes two pare of drawers one
pare of Linnen Stockings one pillowe beere; and
Some peeces of Small Linnen ~ ~ ~ ~
Which they valued at ten pound ~ ~ ~
The said John Pike Confessed before the Cort: that he
had such things but pretended that he bought the
same ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Thomas Purnell Constable being present made it
appeare to the Cort: that he found upon search by
virtue of A warrant most of the forementioned goods
at the house of the said John Pike at Matepany
aforesaid
