to the Custome of the Contry in such service as the Sd:

This Indenture made the 23th: day of ffebruary 1666
in the nineteenth year of the raigne of our soveraigne
Lord King Charles the Second &c Betweene Samuell Squire
marchant on the one party and Christopher Newgent on
the other party Wittnesseth That the said Christopher
Newgent doth hereby Covenant promise and Grant to and
with the said Samuell Squire to Serve with him his executors:
and assignes from the Day of the date hereof untill
the first and next arrivall of the Dove in Virginia and
after for and Duering the Said tearme of foure yeares of
service in Such services and Imployments of the said
Samuell Squire or his assignes Shall there employ him
according to the Custome of the Contry in the Like kinde
in Consideracon whereof the said Samuell Squire Doth
Covenant
