witt on the first day of October Anno Domini 1728 The Right Honourable
The Lord Prop^ry Directed to his Lordships Justices of the Prov^l Court his
Writt Close which follows in these Words

MARYLAND ss Charles Absolute Lord and Propry of the Provinces of
Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore etc: To the Justices of the
Provinciall Court Greeting Because in the Record and Process as also in
Rendering of Judgment in a Plea which was in Our said Provincial Court
before William Lock Esq^r One of the justices of the said Provinciall Court
and others his Associates Justices of the said Court by our Writt Between
Francis Skirvin Plantiff And Rich^d Willis late of Dorchester County Gen^t
Defendant for the Sum of Eighty four Pounds fourteen Shillings and two
Pence Sterl: Manifest Error hath happened to the great Damage of the said
Francis Skirvin as of his Complaint We have Received And We being Will-
ing that Error if any Should be Duely Corrected And full and Speedy [821]
Justice to the Parties in that Part be Done We Command You if Judgment
