witt on the first day of October Anno Domini 1728 The Right Honourable
The Lord Propry Directed to his Lordships Justices of the Provl Court his
Writt Close which follows in these Words
MARYLAND ss Charles Absolute Lord and Propry of the Provinces of
Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore etc: To the Justices of the
Provinciall Court Greeting Because in the Record and Process as also in
Rendering of Judgment in a Plea which was in Our said Provincial Court
before William Lock Esqr One of the justices of the said Provinciall Court
and others his Associates Justices of the said Court by our Writt Between
Francis Skirvin Plantiff And Richd Willis late of Dorchester County Gent
Defendant for the Sum of Eighty four Pounds fourteen Shillings and two
Pence Sterl: Manifest Error hath happened to the great Damage of the said
Francis Skirvin as of his Complaint We have Received And We being Will-
ing that Error if any Should be Duely Corrected And full and Speedy [821]
Justice to the Parties in that Part be Done We Command You if Judgment
be thereon Rendered that then the Record and Process afd With all things
touching the same to Us under Your Hands and Seals Distinctly and Openly
You Send and this Writt So that they may be had before Our Governour and
