ling for the Due Prosecution of the said Appeale which Security is Approved
of and Bond follows in these Words.

MARYLAND ss: Know all men by these Presents that we Mich" Macne-
mara and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundell County
Gen^l and Charles Carroll of the said Place Chirurgeon are held and firmly
bound unto Thomas Brooke of Prince Georges County Esq^r in the full Sum
of One Hundred Pounds Sterling to be Paid to the Said Thomas Brooke
his Certain Attorney Ex^rs Adm^rs or Assigns to Which Payment well and
Truely to be Made and Done We bind Ourselves and Every of Our Heirs
Executors and Adm^rs joyntly and Severally for the whole and in the Whole
firmly by these Presents Sealed with Our Seals and Dated this twenty first
Day of May Anno Domini Seventeen Hundred and twenty Nine.

The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that if the above bound
Michael Macnemara Shall Prosecute with Effect an Appeale Entered to
be brought before his Majestic in Council from a judgment rendered in
the High Court of Appeals of this Province on a Judgment Obtained in the
Provinciall Court of this Province by the said Thomas Brooke against the
Said Midi*¹ Macnemara as Son and Heir of Thomas Macnemara Esq^r his late
father Deced And Also Satisfie And Pay all the Costs that Shall be Awarded
by his Majestic in Council to be Paid to the Said Thomas Brooke by the said
Mich^ll Macnemara in Case the judgment aforesaid of the Said High Court of
Appeals and Errors Shall be Affirmed by his Majesty in Council then this
Obligation to be Void Else to remain in full force and Virtue in Law

[817] Whereupon the said Bond is Ordered to be Delivered Up to the Said
Thomas Brooke as his Property. Whereupon likewise the same Day the
same Thomas Brooke by Edmond Jennings his Attorney Prayed Upon his
Giving good And Sufficient Security to Make Ample Restitution for all that
the Appellant Should loose by means of Such judgment in Case Upon Deter-
mination of Such Appeale Such judgment Should be Reversed that he the
Said Thomas Brooke might be at liberty to take Out Execution Against the
said Mich^l' Macnemara which is Likewise Granted Whereupon Daniel Du-
lany And Alexander Contee Gen^l Enter into Bond in the penal Sum of Nine
Hundred and Ninety five Pounds Ten Shillings Current Money Payable to
the said Mich^ll Macnemara for Making restitution In Manner Afores³ Which
Bond Was likewise Approved of by the Said Court And follows in these
Words. Know all men by these Presents that we Daniel Dulany of the City
of Annapolis Esq^r And Alexander Contee of Prince Georges County Esq^r are
held and firmly bound Unto Mich^ll Macnemara of the City of Annapolis
