In Testimony whereof the Seale of the Provll Court is hereunto affixed

I hereby Certifie that the Spverall Parents Above mentioned were va-
cated on record [795] In the Provinciall Court on the fifteenth Day of April
Anno Dom: 1674 being Lands for his Lordships Use. In Testimony Whereof
I have hereunto sett my hand this 6th Day of September Anno Dom: 1725.

| Patt 300—— Know Ye that whereas We Did by our Deed of
( S*- Patricks Hills Grant under our Great Seale of our said Province bear-
Dated ioth March ing Date 26 Day of May in the 32d year of our Dominion
Anno 1673. over our Said Province Anno Dom: 1664 for the Consid-
eration therein named Grant unto John Caine of this
Province Planter a parcell of Land Called Si Patricks Hill lying in Charles
County on the Fresh run of Portobacco or St Thomas's Creek Containing
and then laid out for three Hundred Acres more or Less as by the Grant
thereof remaining upon Record more fully Appears And Whereas we had
long Since reserved to our self a parcell of Land Called Pangaya Manner in
Charles County aforesd and Since the running out of the lines of our said
Mannor of Panguaya the Said parcell of Land Called St Patricks Hill is
found to be within the bounds of our Said Mannor by wch it Evidently Ap-
pears that our said Grant thereof was Surreptiously obtained by the said
John Caine and the said John Caine having Surrendered up the Said Grant
into Our hands and Caused the Same to be vacated Upon record and Hum-
bly Submitted himself to our favour in the premisses etc.

This is a True Copy of said Canes Patt so farr as it is Coppied from Lib:
LL f o: 168 and I further Certifie that all the grants of the Certificates men-
tioned on the other side the preambles of them are Exactly According to the
Above preamble being Likewise found to be within Panguaya Mannor.

John Gaines Cer: 50 Acres in Cha: County Called Spring plaine Dated
Febry 1666 the Patent therein Granted said Caine 30* June 1668. Is Mar-
ginted thus Vizt: This Patent dd up into the office and mad void being
reserved for his Lopps Use Vid: Lib: Provin: M M fol: 198. True Copy
from Lib: U: U: fo: 41: Per Jo Lawson Regr land office.

John Gaines Cer: 300 Acres in Cha: Coty Called St Patricks Hill Dated
Sepr iith 1663 the Patent thereon Granted Said Caine the 26th of May 1664.
