Court to Witt on the twenty third day of December Anno Domini Seven-
teen hundred and twenty Six His Lordships Justices of the Provl Court
Transmit! to his Lordships Governour and Council of the Province [777]
aforesaid Sitting as a Coun of Appeals and Errors the following Record an
Appeale made by Thos Nelson Lessee of John Digges by his Attorney The
Tenour of which follows in these words Vizt:
MARYLAND ss In the Records and Proceeds of the Provincial Court of
Maryland amongst other things is Contained as follows Vizt: At a Provinciall
Court held at the City of Annapolis in the County of Ann Arundell for the
province of Maryland on the third tuesday in October being the Eighteenth
Day of the Same month in the Eleventh Year of the Dominion of the Right
HonnWe Charles absolute Lord and Proprietor of the Provinces of Maryland
and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore etc: Annoque Dom: 1726.

Twentieth Day of October Anno Dom: 1724 John Beale late of Charles
County Genl Was attached to answer unto Thomas Nelson of a Plea Where-
fore with force and Arms into Seven Hundred and fifty Acres of Plantable
Land with the Appurtenances being Part of a Tract of Land Called Barba-
does Scituate lying and being in Charles County aforesd and on the Westerly
side of the said Tract of Land Called Barbadoes with the Appurtenances in
Charles County aforesd which Jno Diggs to the same Thomas Nelson Demised
for a Term which is Not yet Past hath Entered and him from his farm afsd
