48 MARYLAND COURT OF APPEALS

[67] Att a Provinciall Court holden att the City of St Marys the 6th day of
November in the Sixth Year of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord and Lady
William and Mary by the Grace of God of England Scottland France and Ire-
land King and Queen Defenders of the Faith etc. Annoque Dni 1694 before
theire Matys Justices thereunto Authorized and Appointed.

Att which Said Court Came the Said Miles Burrough by Philip Clark
his Attorney And the Said Thomas Tench Esqr Admr of the Goods and
Chattells of Lyonel Copley Esqr Deceased by William Dent his Attorney and
pray Liberty to Imparle thereunto untill the Provll Court then next follow-
ing and it is Granted unto him the Same Day is Given to the Said Miles also.

Att a Provll Court held att Annapolis in Ann Arundell County the Six
and Twentieth Day of Feby in the Seaventh Year of the Reigne of our Sover-
eign Lord and Lady Willm and Mary King and Queen of England etc. Anno-
que Dni lOy-J before their Marys Justices thereunto Authorized and Ap-
pointed

The Honble Robert Smith; John Hammond; Robert Mason; Coll St Lieger
Codd; Thomas Tasker; William Hatton; John Pollard, Esqrs

This Cause by Consent of both Partys Stands Continued untill the Next
Provinciall Court being the thirteenth Day of August then next Ensuing and
from thence remained Continued unto the Second Day of October then next
following.

Att a Provinciall Court held att the porte of Annapolis in Ann Arundell
County the Second Day of October in the Seaventh Year of the reigne of
our Sovereign Lord William the third by the Grace of God of England Scott-
land France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith etc. Annoque Dni 1695
before his Maty Justices thereunto Appointed

[68] Col Copleys Admr v. Miles Burrough

Miles Burrough late of St Mary's City Inholder was Attached to Answer
unto Thomas Tench Esqr Admr of all and Singular the Goods and Chattells
Rights and Creditts of his Excellency Lyonel Copley Esqr Deceased of a plea
of Trespass upon the Case

And whereupon the Said Thomas by Willm Dent his Attry Coplaineth
that Whereas upon the 2oth day of March in the Year of our Lord 1695 att
the City of St Marys in St Marys County the Said Thomas and the Said Miles
did Accompt together of Diverse Summs of money and Tobbacco by the Sd
Miles due and Owing to the Said Lyonel Copley Decd and upon the Ballance
