Be it Remembred That heretofore To Witt the eighteenth day of July
Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen Came into Court
John Hyde by Thomas Macnemara his Attorney and Exhibitted to the Court
here his certain Record of Appeale from a Judgment of the Provincial
Court which Record follows in these Words Vizt
MARYLAND ss In the Records and proceedings of the Provincial Court
amongst other things is thus Contain'd as follows Vizt
MARYLAND ss At a Provincial Court held at the City of Annapolis in
the County of Ann Arundell for the Province of Maryland the first day of
May in the first year of the Dominion of the Right Honrble Charles Abso-
lute Lord and Proprietary of the [331] Provinces of Maryland and Avalon
Lord Baltemore etc. Annoque Domini 1716.

MARYLAND ss. James Crooke late of Ann Arundell County Innholder
was attacheH to answer unto John Hyde of a plea of trespass upon the case.
And Whereupon The same John by Thomas Macnemara his Attorney
Complains that whereas the Said James the fifteenth day of October in the
year of our Lord God one thousand Seven hundred and Seven at Ann Arun-
dell County Stood justly indebted unto the said John in the Sume of one
hundred thirty four pounds, five Shillings and Six pence Sterling being for
diverse goods Wares and Merchandizes to the said James at the Special In-
