200 MARYLAND COURT OF APPEALS

unto the Said William Fitzredmond for the Terme afd wch is not yett passed
with force and armes etc. Entered and him from his farm afd did Eject and
other harmes to him did to the Great Damage of him the Said William and
against the peace etc. whereupon the Said William Saith he is Damnifyed
and [309] hath loss to the Vallue of five hundred pounds Sterling and thereof
he brings Suite etc.

Pleds per etc. Jno Doe and

Richd Roe.

And the Said George Eskridge by Thomas Bordley his attorney Comes
and Defends the Force and Injury when etc. and prays leave to Imparle
hereunto untill next Court and he hath it and the Same Day is Given to the
plaintiff also.

Att which Said next Court to witt the thirteenth Day of July anno Doni
one thousand Seven hundred and thirteen Comes again as well the Said PIP
by his attorney as the Said Defendant by his atfney afd and the Said Defend'
by his Said Atfny prays further Leave to Imparle thereunto untill next Court
and he hath it and the Same Day is given to the PIP allso, Att which Said
next Court to witt the thirteenth Day of October anno Dni one thousand
Seven hundred and thirteen Comes again as well the Said PIP. by his attor-
ney afd as the Said Defendt by his atf ny afsd and the Said Defendant by his
Said attorney prays further leave to Imparle hereunto untill next Court and
he hath it and the Same Day is Given to the PIP also.

Att wch Said next Court to witt the thirteenth Day of aprill anno Doni
One thousand Seven hundred and fourteen Comes again as well the Said
Wm. Fitzredmond Lessee of the Said Charles Carroll by his atfney afsd as
the Said George Eskridge by his attorney, and the Said George Eskridge by
[310] His Said Attorney as before defends the force and Injury when etc.
and Saith that he is in no ways guilty of the Trespass and Ejectment afsd as
the afd plP above Complaines agt him and of this he putts him Self upon the
Country, and the PIP likewise, thereupon Command is Given to the Sherriff
of Annarundell County that he Imediately Cause to Come here twelve etc.
by whom etc. who neither etc. to recognize etc. because as well etc. of which
Said Precept the Said Sherriff to witt Thomas Gassaway Gent, now here at
this Day to witt the Same Day and year last mentioned makes returne that
he has here ready twelve etc. as by his precept he was Commanded and now
here afterwards to witt the Same Day and year Comes as well the Said Wil-
liam Fitzredmond Lessee of of [sic] the Said Charles Carroll by his atfney
afsd as the Said George Eskridge by his atfney afd and the Jurors of that Jury
Impannelled being called like wise Come (to witt Thomas Edmundson Wil-
liam Whittington Ignatius Luckett, Wm Stone Junr, Willm Maccubbins Grif-
fith Jones, Wm Brown Nathal Colliar Jno Rawles Francis Sherrwood George
Pouncey and Peter Taylor who being duely Elected tryed and Sworne to Say
the truth in the premises upon their oath do Say, Wee of the Jury find that
