Memorand^m that on the twenty fourth day of July in the Second Year
of her Majestys reigne etc. Annoque Dni One thousand Seaven hundred and
three her Majestys Writt of Scire facias by William Bladen Attorney for
the Plantiff was Sued out as follows Viz^t

Anne by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland
Queen defender of the faith etc. To the Sherriff of Talbot County Greeting
Whereas At A Provinciall Court held at Annapolis the Seaventh day of
October Anno Domi Seaventeen hundred and one in A cause then and there
depending between Hugh Hall Administrator of all and singular the goods
and Chatties which were of Hugh Hall his father decease! plantiffs and
James Edmondson Son and heir of John Edmondson deceasd otherwise
called John Edmondson of Talbot County in the province of Maryland
Merchant deceasd defendant the said plantiff recoverd Judgment against
the said defendant as well for the Sume of Fifty four pounds Eight Shillings
and three pence sterling the ballance of A Certain debt of Two hundred
and forty two pounds Sterling whereof he is Convict as the Sume of Six hun-
dred and ninety one pounds of tobacco for costs of Suite in that behalf Laid
out and Expended and for that Execution thereof Still remains to be made
And whereas the said James Edmondson son and heir of the said John Ed-
mondson is deceased as by the insinuation of the said Hugh Hall adm^r as
aforesaid We have received We comand you that by good and lawfull men
of your ballywick you make known unto Magdalen Edmondson Adminis-
tratrix of all and Singular the goods and chatties rights and Creditts of the
said James Edmondson deceas'd late of Calvert County Gentⁿ, Son and heir
of the said John as aforesaid that she be and appear before the Justices of
our provinciall Court to be held at Annapolis the last tuesday in September
next to shew cause if any she have Why Execution for the debt and costs in
the Judgment aforesaid Specifyed to be recovered should not in the name
of him the said Hugh Hall the Administrator as aforesaid be Issued against
the goods and chatties of the said James Edmondson Administrator as afore-
said in the hands of the said Administratrix Magdalen [200] Edmondson
remaining to be Administred if to her it shall seem meet and how you shall
execute this Writt that You make knowne to our Justices at the day and
place aforesaid and have you then there this Writt etc.

At which said last tuesday in September Anno Domi 1703 comes the
