[198] Wee Solomon Wright and Phillip Lynes being by the Justices of
the Provinciall Court appointed to inspect into A bond due from M^r John
Edmondson late of Talbot County deceasd to M^r Hugh Hall of Berbadoes
and likewise severall Accounts and payments disbursed and made betwixt
them We have enquired into the same and do find that the ballance due from
John Edmondson at the time of his decease to M^r Hugh Hall of Berbadoes
is as Above stated and Amounts to the Sume of Fifty four pounds Eight
Shillings and three pence Sterling And this We Signify under our hands this
15^th day of October 1701.

Afterwards to witt the said fifteenth day of October last mentioned
came again the said partys by their Attorneys Aforesaid and the Accounts
aforesaid so Audited and Stated was here read and heard and by the Justices
understood they do find there is remaining on the Obligation aforesaid only
the Sume of Fifty four pounds Eight shillings and three pence Sterling the
ballance of the debt aforesaid Whereupon it is considered by the Justices
here the same day and Year last mentioned that the said Hugh Hall the Ad-
ministrator aforesaid recover ag^t the said James Edmondson the heir of John
Edmondson deceased as Aforesaid as well the said Sume of Fifty four pounds
Eight shillings and three pence the ballance of the debt aforesaid as also the
Sume of Six hundred and Ninety one pounds of tobacco Costs of suite in this
behalf laid out and Expended and the Defendant in mercy etc.
