was before you in our Said Court between [18] Phillip Lynes Ptiffe and
Henry Hawkins Deft as it is Said manifest Error hath happened to the great
Damage of the Said Henry Hawkins as of his Complaint w[ee] have received
we willing that the Error (if any be) Should in due manner be corrected and
full and Speedy Justice to be done to the Said Parties in this behalf, we com-
mand you that the Record and process of the Plea afore Said with all things
touching the Same distinctly and plainly you send Soe that we may have the
Same before the Upper house of Assembly to be held at the City of St Maries
the Twentieth day of September next that inspection being had of the Rec-
ords and proceedings therein We may Cause further to be done what of right
and according to the Laws and Customes of our Said Province ought to be
done he the Said Henry Hawkins having given Security (in Case the Said
Judgmt Shall be affirmed by the Said Assembly) to pay and Satisfie the Costs
adjudged by the Said Judgmt as also all Costs and Charges as Shall be awarded
by the Said Genll Assembly and have you there also this writt Wittness our
Selves at the City of St Maries the Twentieth day of July in the Sixth Year of

of the Said Court in a Cause there lately depending between Philip Lynes
