Errors Assigned upon A Judgment of the Provinciall Court on A Writt
of Error brought by Hugh Ryley plantiff against Willm Hollyday defend-
ant Vizt

1th It is Erred in that the Venire was wrong awarded being to the
Sheriff of Ann Arundell County whereas the land lyeth in Prince Georges
County.

2d Divers of the Jurors were not freeholders and therefore not by law
Qualifyd to pass upon the land in question to witt Alex"1 Carlisle Thomas
Beeles John Lecompt and James Givan. For which Err™ and many more in
the record and proceedings as also in rendring Judgmt he prays the Judg-
ment may be reversed and held for nought and that he to all things he hath
thereby lost may be restored. Bladen.

Which said Errors being read argued and debated by the Attornys on
both sides and by the Court here fully understood are adjudged to be suffi-
cient for the reversall of the Judgment of the provincial Court aforesaid
given And thereupon its Considered by the Court here that the Judgment
of the provinciall Court as aforesaid Given against the said Hugh Ryley be
reversd set aside and held for nought for the reasons aforesaid and that the
said Hugh Ryley unto all things which thereby he hath lost be restored etc.

It being Signified to this Court by the Defendants Attorney that A full
Transcript of the proceedings in this Cause is not transmitted therefore or-
derd Writt of Dimunution Issue.

The Court Adjourns to the 19th October thence to 8th Febry thence to
11th Apr ill thence to the 11th Novr 1709 per ordr his Excy.

At A Court held before her Majtys Presidt and Honoble Councill for
hearing Appeals and Writts of Errour November the Eleventh Anno Dni
1709 and in the 8th Yeare of the Reign of our Sovraign Lady Queen Anne etc.
Present: The Honoble Edwd Lloyd Esqr Presidt; Of her Majts Hono Councill:
Coll William Holland; Col William Coursey; Coll Charles Greenberry; Coll
Wm Whittington.

Read the petitions of Mr Thomas Macknemarra Mr Thos. Bordley and
Mr Richard Dallam praying Admission to practice as Attorneys in this
Honoble Court who are Admitted thereon and severally take the Oaths of
Attorny's Accordingly.
