WHEREAS an Act of Assembly of this Province, made at a Session
of Assembly, begun and held at the City of Annapolis, on the
Second
Day of October, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty-three,
entitled, An Act to prevent Masters of Ships, and Vessels, from
clandestinely
carrying Servants and Slaves, or Persons Indebted, out of this Province,
hath since, by Experience, appeared to be a good and wholesome Law,
and
very beneficial to the People of this Province:
II. Be it therefore

retained the Possession and Use, is productive of Disputes and Law
