1737.
At a Session of ASSEMBLY begun and held at the
    City of Annapolis, the 11th Day of August, in the
    23d Year of the Dominion of the Right Honourable
    CHARLES, absolute Lord and Proprietary of the
    Provinces of Maryland and Avalon, Lord Baron of
    Baltimore, &c. and ended the 16th Day of the
    same Month, Anno Domini 1737  The following
    Laws were Enacted.

CHAP. XIV.
An Act to Prohibit the Exportation of Grain, Bread, and Flour.  Lib. B.L.C.

An Act repealing an Act, entitled, An Act for Limitation of the Time in

    was Enacted, viz.

SAMUEL OGLE, Esq; Governor.

 
CHAP. I.
An Act for issuing and paying out of the Office of the Commissioners or Trustees
    for emitting Bills of Credit, established by Act of Assembly, the Sum of Two
    Thousand Five Hundred and Sixty-two Pounds Ten Shillings, Current Money,
    in Bills of Credit; to be applied for the Encouragement of Persons voluntarily

    inlisting themselves in his Majesty's Service.  Lib. B.L.C.  fol. 192.
    N.B. 
By this Act, a Sum not exceeding 2562 l. 10 s. was Granted for the inlisting, &c. of a
Number, not exceeding 500 Volunteers, to serve in the intended Expedition against the Spanish
West-Indies
.  And Commissioners, viz.  One in each County, were appointed and impowered to
receive the said Sum out of the Loan-Office, &c.  Which Money was to be replaced and repaid 
into the Office by a public ASsessment in the Years 1741 and 1742, &c.
