1698. At a Session of ASSEMBLY, begun and held at the
    Port of Annapolis, on the 10th Day of March, in
    the Tenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
    WILLIAM the Third, by the Grace of GOD, of
    England, Scotland, France, and Ireland, King, Defender
    of the Faith, &c.  Annoq; Domini 1697-8,
    and ended the 4th Day of April 1698.

    Viz.  From and after the 10th June 1698, all that Land and Inhabitants in Chester River, above
the Riding over of a Branch of Morgan's Creek, on the East Side of William Bateman's House,
and on the North Side of a Line drawn from the Riding over of the said Branch, to the Head of a
Branch of a Creek issuing out of the Bay, called Charne Creek, be always taken, reputed, and
be in Shrewsbury Parish; and that all the Land on the South Side of the said Charne Creek and
Branch, and Division Line down the Bay, to the Extent of Cæcil County, be added to St. Paul's
parish in Kent County, on the North Side of Chester River, and always to be taken, reputed, and
be in St. Paul's Parish, &c.
CHAP. VI.
Ditto. An Act impowering the Commissioners of the County Courts, to raise and levy Money
    for defraying the necessary Charges of their Counties.  REP.
A new Act made 1699, ch. 12.
CHAP. VII.
Ditto. An Act for rectifying the ill Practices of the Attorneys of this province, and for
    the ascertaining of the Attorney-General, and Clerk of the Indictments, Fees in
