In Council June n. 1789

William Robertson Esqr. Collector of Taxes in [p. 83] Montgomery County
having complied with the Condition required to entitle him to an extension of the indulgence
granted to him on the 7th. of March last, Ordered that no execution issue against the said
William Robertson or his Securities for the Ballance due from him to the State for taxes
as aforesaid until the Seventh Day of September next

By order

T. Johnson, Jr., Sec'y.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Sterett Attorney for Messieurs
Vanstaphorst, One thousand pounds Current Money, out of the Money collected and to be
collected in Virtue of the Act to procure a permanent fund for the Debt due from this State
to the said Messieurs Vanstaphorst, to be applied to the payment of the advances of interest
made by the said Messieurs Vanstaphorst upon the Loan negotiated by them on behalf of
this State.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Friday 12th. June 1789

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Harrison Esqr. Thirty pounds
due him per Account passed by the Auditor Pro. Temp.

That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Couden Three pounds twelve shillings and ten
pence due him per Account passed by the Auditor Pro. Temp.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Saturday 13th. June 1789

The Council met.

In Council June 13. 1789

Richard Harwood Esquire Collector of taxes in Ann Arundel County, having complied
with the Condition required to entitle him to an extension of the indulgence granted to him
on the 20th. of March last, ordered that no execution issue against the said Richard Harwood
or his Securities for the Ballance due [p. 84] from him to the State for taxes as
aforesaid until the Seventh Day of September next.

The Honorable John Kilty Esquire attended.

Robert Denny appointed Deputy Auditor by the Auditor Pro. Temp, produces a
Certificate of his qualification, which is ordered to be filed.
