36 "Journal of the Council"

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Christopher Richmond One hundred
and forty five pounds, sixteen shillings and eight pence due him for Salary as Auditor General
to the 1st. instant.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday Morning.

Monday 15th. June 1789

The Council met.

Present his Excellency John Eager Howard Esquire

The honorable James Brice

John Davidson

John Kilty Esquires

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Tuesday 16th. June 1789

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to James Fitzgerrald a Soldier late of the
2d. Maryland Regiment Twelve pounds, ten shillings five Months pay due him between the
first of August 1780 and the first of January 1781 per Certificate of Deputy Auditor.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 17th June 1789

The Council met.

Present the Hon'ble. James Brice, John Davidson and John Kilty Esquires

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

In Council June 18th. 1789

Daniel Powell Cox Esquire Collector of taxes in Talbot County having complied with
the Condition required to entitle him to an extension of the indulgence granted to him on
the 28th. of March last, Ordered that no Execution issue against the said Daniel Powell Cox
or his Securities for the Ballance due from him to the State for taxes as aforesaid until the
twelth Day of September next.
