same to the Treasurer of the western shore, who is ordered to pay [p. 161] it to
Charles Thompson by virtue of a Power of Attorney from James Gates Father and Adminis-
trator of the said Leonard.

Ordered that the w.s. Treasurer pay to William Gilmour Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings
on Account,

That the said Treasurer pay to John Francis Gardincr Executor of Richard Gardincr
Eleven pounds, nineteen shillings specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts and due from
this State" per Account passed by the Auditor the 23d instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Nicholas Tschudy One hundred and eight pounds, eighteen
shillings specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State" per Account
passed by the Auditor the 21st instant.

John Kilty Esquire appeared in the Council room and qualified before Henry Ridgely
Esquire one of the Aldermen of the City of Annapolis by taking the several Oaths required by
the Constitution and Form of Government and Laws of this State, and making and subscribing
a Declaration of his Belief in the Christian Relegion [sic], and Certificate thereof filed.

[p. 162] Monday 26th. November 1792

Mr Davidson

Mr Pinkney

The Auditor is requested to issue a Certificate for the Depreciation of pay to Charles
Richardson late a private in the fifth Maryland Regiment, and deliver the same to the Treasurer
of the western shore, who is ordered to pay it to the said Charles Richardson.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to George Truitt Fifty six pounds, eighteen
shillings and nine pence Specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State"
per Account passed by the Auditor the 24th instant.

Wednesday 28th. November 1792

The Council met.
Present the Governor

[p. 163] The Auditor is requested to issue a Certificate for the Depreciation of pay to
William Taylor late a Serjeant in Colo. Grayson's Regiment from the 1st of March 1777 to the
26th January 1779 and deliver the same to the Treasurer of the western shore who is ordered
to pay it to John Maddox of John, by virtue of a Power of Attorney from Robert Taylor
Brother and Administrator of the said William Taylor.

John Stevens appointed an Associate Justice of Talbot County in the room of William
Perry who has resigned and
