Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Francis Clements Dyer Fifty four
pounds, thirteen shillings and six pence specie, agreeably to the "Act to adjust the debts due
from this State" for the Amount of Capt. Hezekiah Wheelers pay roll of a company of
Militia in Prince Georges County adjusted by the Auditor.

Thursday 18th. October 1792

Friday 19th. October 1792

The Auditor is requested to issue a Certificate for the Depreciation of pay to Thomas
[p. 136] Byron late of the fifth Maryland Regiment, and deliver the same to the Treasurer
of the western shore, who is ordered to pay it to the said Thomas Byron.

Monday 22d. October 1792

The Council met.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Shaw Forty five pounds for the
purpose of purchasing wood for the public on Account.

Paul Castagnet formerly a subject of the King of France, and Thomas Mundell formerly
a subject of the King of Great Britain severally appeared before the Board and voluntarily
made repeated and subscribed a Declaration of their Belief in the Christian Relegion [sic],
and also took repeated and Subscribed the Oath prescribed by the "Act for Naturalization"
wherefore they are now become Subjects of this State.
