a Judge of the Court of Appeals, Ninety eight pounds, six shillings and eight pence for Salary
from 1 November 1791 to the 27 April 1792 the time of his decease,
That the said Treasurer pay to Henry Ridgely Seven pounds, ten shillings for one quarter's
Salary as Clerk of the Senate due him the ist instant.

The Council met.
Present as on Monday last.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jubb Fowler Thirteen pounds, seventeen
shillings and six pence due him per Account passed by the Auditor.
The Auditor is requested to issue a Certificate for the Depreciation of pay to Henry
Quiggins private in the 4th Regiment killed 16 November 1777, and delver the same to the
Treasurer of the Western Shore who is ordered to pay it over to John Quiggins Brother and
Administrator of the said Henry Quiggins.

The Auditor is requested to issue a Certificate for the Depreciation of pay to John Hartlove
a private in the 1st Regiment, and deliver the same to the Treasurer of the western shore, who
is Ordered to pay it to John Hartlove son and Administrator of the said John Hartlove.
[p. 82] Whereas John and Walter Hanson are indebted to the State of Maryland for
monies advanced them to erect a Powder Mill in Charles County and it appears that they have
expended the greatest part, if not the whole of the said Advances in buildings necessary for the
manufacturing of powder. And whereas the said John Hanson in behalf of himself and the
Representatives of the said Walter through Randolph B. Latimer E[squire A]gent for the State
has proposed to relinquish his claim upon the State of one hundred and seventy pounds fifteen
shillings for Surveying the Manors and Reserves in Charles County aforesaid and to give Bond
to the State agreeably to the Act to appoint an Agent etc., for four hundred pounds, amounting
in the whole to the Sum of five hundred and seventy pounds, fourteen shillings in consideration
of the State's relinquishing the claim upon them the said John and Walter Hanson for the
Monies advanced as aforesaid. The Board after due Consideration of the expenditures of the
said John and Walter Hanson upon the said Buildings and the proposition made, do agree
to accept the same and do direct that the said John and Walter Hanson have credit for the
advances aforesaid upon his the said John Hanson giving from under his hand a relinquishment
[p. 83] of his said claim for Surveying as aforesaid, and also giving Bond to the State with
good Security for the sum of four hundred pounds Current Money agreeably to the Act
aforesaid.
