Wednesday 15. February 1792

The Council met.
Present the Governor

Mr. Stone

Mr. Davidson

Mr. Forrest

John Love is appointed an Associate Justice for Harford County in the place of Samuel
Hughes who has resigned and

Commission issued to Benedict Edward Hall and John Love Associate Justices of the
said County.

Thursday 16th. February 1792

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

[p. 42] William Campbell Esq'r having resigned his appointment of one of the Associate
Justices of Ann Arundel County Samuel Ridout was appointed and Commission issued to
Nicholas Carroll and Samuel Ridout Esqr's Associate Justices of the said County.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Henry Ridgely Esq'r. seven pounds ten
shillings for one quarter's salary as Clerk of the Senate due the 1st instant.

Friday 17. February 1792

The Council met.
Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jubb Fowler Nine pounds, seven shil-
lings and six pence due him per Account passed by the Auditor.

Monday 20. February 1792

Mr. Forrest

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Shaw Twenty pounds on Account,
[p. 43] Mr. John Callahan Register of the Land Office is to have the same Allowance for
transcribing and bringing forward the General Alphabets in the Land Office pursuant to a
Resolution of November Session 1790, as has been allowed to the Register of Wills for Ann
Arundel County except for Books, which the Register is to find at his own expence.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Chase Esq'r. Eighty seven
pounds, ten shillings, the balance allowed him by the Governor and Council by their Agreement
