The Hon'ble James Brice and

John Davidson attended

Uriah Forrest Esquire elected a Member of the Council appeared and qualified before
James Brice Esq'r. Alderman of the City of Annapolis, by taking the several Oaths required
by the Constitution and Form of Government and Laws of this State and making and
subscribing a Declaration of his belief in the Christian Relegion and also by taking the Oath
for the support of the Constitution of the United States, Certificate thereof filed.

The Hon'ble Henry Ridgely Esq'r. attended

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Gassaway seventeen pounds, four
shillings and three pence three farthings due him per Account passed by the Auditor.

Richard Willson appointed Register of Wills of Queen Anns County in the room
of Solomon Clayton deceased and Commission issued.

Commission issued to Thomas Sprigg and Moses Rawlings appointed Associate Justices
of Washington County.

[p. 29] Commission issued to Vernon Hebb, William Killgour, Barton Tabbs, James
Briscoe, William Somervill, John Abell Youngest, Edmund Plowden, Richard Bond, Thomas
Bond, Charles Chilton, Joseph Ford, Mordecai Jones and Samuel Abell appointed Justices
of St. Marys County.

The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning.
