The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Commission issued to Edward Roberts appointed One of the Coroners of Talbot County
in the room of Joseph Bewley deceased.

The Petition of John Welsh and George Cristman of Baltimore County, praying the
remission of forfeited recognizances for the Sum of Sixty pounds each entered into by them
respectively for the appearance of Charles Cox and Casper Islerloans at the Criminal Court of
said County to be held February 1788, is rejected.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Friday 1st. May 1789

The Council met.

Present the Hon'ble. James Brice

John Davidson

William Hindman Esquires

[p. 66] Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Rogers Esqr. One hundred
and eighty seven pounds, ten shillings for one Quarters Salary as Chancellor and Judge of the
Land Office due this Day.

That the said Treasurer pay to James Brice Esqr. thirty seven pounds, ten shillings for
one quarters Salary [as] a member of the Council.

That the said Treasurer pay to William Hindman Esqr. Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings
for one quarter's Salary as a member of the Council.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Davidson Esqr. Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings
for One quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council.

That the said Treasurer pay to Randolph Brandt Latimer Thirty one pounds, five shillings
for One quarter's Salary as Deputy Auditor due this Day.

That the said Treasurer pay to Frederick Green ninety three pounds, fifteen shillings for
One quarter's Salary as Printer of the State due this Day.

That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Clark Twenty one pounds due him in part of two
Accounts passed by the Auditor General this Day

That the said Treasurer pay to the said Joseph Clark Twenty one pounds due him in part of
two Accounts passed as aforesaid

That the said Treasurer pay to the Joseph Clark Twenty pounds due him in part of two
