river, and Hardase Lane appointed Justices of the Peace for Montgomery County.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Col. John Hoskins Stone Forty two
pounds, three shillings and nine pence for three Months half pay due the 1st. instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Beatty for the use of M. Bartgis Thirteen
pounds, four shillings and ten pence due him for publishing in the Frederick town News paper
sundry acts of Assembly per Account passed by the Auditor General.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Friday 27th May 1791

The Council met.

Present as on yesterday.

Andre Faissole formerly a subject of the King of Sardinia appeared before the Board
and voluntarily made repeated and subscribed a Declaration of his belief in the Christian
Religion, and also took repeated and subscribed the Oath prescribed by the "Act for Natural-
ization," wherefore he is now become a Subject of this State.

The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning.
