for Talbot County, and his Securities for the Balance of taxes due from him in said County

for the year 1786 be suspended 'till the first day of April next.

Commissions issued to John Moale, James Calhoun, George Goldsmith Presbury, Isaac
Van Bibber, John Cradock, Jeremiah Johnson, Charles Ridgely of Wm. Abraham Van
Bibber, Thomas Russell, William Russell, Edward Cockey, Thomas Elliott, Thomas Todd,
Lyde Goodwin, Richard Owings of Sam'l. Edmund Stansbury, Thomas Bailey, Henry
Lammott, Thoroughgood Smith, Isaac Griest and Francis Snowden appointed Justices of
the County Court of Baltimore County, and John Moale, James Calhoun, George Goldsmith
Presbury, Isaac Van Bibber, Charles Ridgely of Wm. William Russell and Lyde Goodwin
appointed Justices of the Orphans Court of said County.

Richard Johns app'd. one of the Coroners of said County in the room of Tho's. Gist
resigned.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday morning.

In Council March 23d. 1789

John Beall Esquire Collector of taxes for Prince Georges County having prayed the
indulgence which by An Act of Assembly passed at their last Session entitled "An Act to
empower the Governor and Council to compound with the discoverers of british property
and for other purposes" this Board is authorized to grant on certain Conditions, which
Conditions the said John Beall has complied with, and the Board being of Opinion that he
has used his best endeavors to discharge the Balance he owes the State—Resolved that all
proceedings at Law against the said John Beall or his Securities for the balance due from
him to the State for the taxes in Prince Georges County aforesaid for the years 1784 and 1785
be suspended for three Months from the twelth of this instant.
