An Exequatur to Adriaan Valk
State of Maryland—Annapolis 13th. February 1786

In Council

To all whom it may concern

Adriaan Valk having been recognized by the United States in
Congress Assembled as Consul from the United Netherlands for
the State aforesaid. We do therefore in Pursuance of the Directions
of the General Assembly recognize and declare the said Adriaan Valk
to be Consul from the United Netherlands for this State, and that the
Privileges Preeminences and Authority belonging to such Character
and Quality are due to him.

Ordered that the above Exequatur be published. W. Smallwood
