324 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

[p 28] Monday 2d. February 1789

The Council met.

Present the Honorable James Brice

John Davidson

John Kilty Esquires.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Frederick
Green thirty four pounds, thirteen shillings and eight pence Current
Money due him per Account passed by the Deputy Auditor.

That the said Treasurer pay to the said Frederick Green ninety
three pounds fifteen shillings for one quarter's Salary as Printer the
State due the 1st. instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to James Brice Esqr. thirty seven
pounds, ten shillings due him for One quarter's Salary as a Member
of the Council.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Kilty Esquire thirty seven
pounds ten shillings for One quarter's Salary as a Member of the
Council.

His Excellency John Eager Howard Esqr. attended.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Lieut. Colo.
Uriah Forrest thirty three pounds fifteen shillings for three Months
half pay due him the 1st. instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Rogers Esquire Chancellor
One hundred and eighty seven pounds ten shillings for one quarter's
Salary due the 1st. instant.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Tuesday 3d. February 1789

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Jubb Fowler
five pounds due him per Account passed by the Deputy Auditor.

That the said Treasurer pay to the said Jubb Fowler Eighteen
pounds fifteen shillings for one quarter's Salary as Messenger to
the Council and Keeper of the State House due the 1st. instant.
[p 29] Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Joshua
Dorsey Seven pounds, ten shillings for one quarter's Salary as Clerk
of the Senate due the 1st. instant.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 4th. February 1789

The Council met.
