312 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

July 20, 1788. Hugh Reynolds of Frederick County for part of a
tract of Land called Taskers Chance property of Daniel Dulany and
also for one other part conveyed to Stephen Ransburgh and Lotts
Nos. 28 and 30,

August 28 1788. Jonathan Sellman Anne Arundel County for part
of a tract of Land in Harford County the property of James Sellman
Woodroof called Merritons Lot 200 Acres.

December 16. 1788 Letter from Stephen West.

The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning.

Thursday 18th. December 1788

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Thomas Skinner of Somerset County is appointed and Commis-
sioned One of the Coroners for said County in place of Huett Nutter
deceased.

Commissions issued to John Dickinson, John Smoot, Edward
Noel, Thomas Jones, Benjamin Keene, Henry Leeke, James Shaw,
Joseph Baffin, Robert Griffin, Levin Kirkman, James Steel, Thomas
Bourke, Daniel Sullivane and Moses Lecompt appointed Justices of
the County Court and

Edward Noel, Thomas Jones, Joseph Damn, Levin Kirkman and
Thomas Bourke appointed Justices of the Orphans Court of Dor-
chester County.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

The Council met.
Present as on Yesterday.

Commissions issued to the following Persons appointed Justices
of the County Court and Orphans Court.

Talbot County

John Bracco, Jeremiah Banning, Richard Johns, William Dawson,
Woolman Gibson junr. Hugh Sherwood junr. Charles Gardiner,
James Thomas, feter Webb, and David Kerr Justices of the County
Court.

Jeremiah Banning, Richard Johns, William Dawson, Woolman
Gibson junr. and Charles Gardiner Justices of the Orphans Court.

Kent County

John Scott, James Claypoole, Richard Graves, John Woodland,
Donaldson Yates, John Page, John Thomas, Jeremiah Nicholls,
William Grindage, Richard Hynson and William Rogers appointed
Justices of the County Court.
