The Council met.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to John E. Howard
Esquire Thirty three pounds, five shillings Current Money for his
attendance in Congress per Account passed by the Auditor General.

The Honorable John Davidson Esquire attended and

The Honorable Benjamin Harrison Esquire absent.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to the Revd. Mr.
Ralph Higginbothom Sixteen pounds, fourteen shillings and three
pence due him for Board and Tuition of Master Walley per Account
passed by the Aud'r. G'l.

His Excellency the Governor attended.

Commission issued to Benjamin Howard elected Sheriff of Anne
Arundel County.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday morning.

John Eccleston elected Sheriff of Dorchester County.

James Orrick elected Sheriff of Caecil County.
