272 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

Commission issued to Moses Maccubbin appointed Inspector of
Annapolis Ware House in Anne Arundel County.
The Council adjourned 'till Monday Morning.

[p 332] Monday 7th. July 1788

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire.
The Hon'ble. James Brice

Benja. Harrison Esquires.

John Anthony Honore formerly a Subject of the King of France,
who arrived in this State in the year 1782, appeared before the Board
and did voluntarily make, repeat, and subscribe a Declaration of his
belief in the Christian Religion, and also took, repeated and sub-
scribed the Oath prescribed by the Act for Naturalization, wherefore
he is now become a Subject of this State.

Ordered that John Shaw, Armourer in the City of Annapolis
deliver to Thomas Russell Esqr. for the use of the Justices of the
Criminal Court for Baltimore County, twenty stand of Arms fit for
immediate use with twenty Bayonets and twenty Cartouch boxes,
which they are to return in good order or to have replaced by Balti-
more County or to pay for them.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Tuesday 8th. July 1788

The Council met.

The Council adjourned 'till Thursday.
