that She was presented to the last January term of Baltimore County
Court for selling Spiritous Liquors without Licence, and fined in the
Amount [p 311] of six hundred weight of Tobacco. The
Petitioner alleges that she was compelled by the distress of a Family
of small Children to commit the offence, and professes herself wholly
unable to pay the fine, and five of the Justices of Baltimore County
having recommended her as an object worthy of relief, the Board in
consideration of her poverty do hereby direct that the aforesaid fine
of 6oo Wt. of Tobacco be remitted.

The Board have sold to Mr. Clark, all the refuse Shingles plank
etc. belonging to the public, in the Yard at the bottom of the Gover-
nors Garden for the Sum of Forty seven pounds, ten shillings, with
which Mr. Clark is to credit the State.
The Council adjourned till Saturday next.

Major Townshend is hereby re-appointed and continued Inspector
under his Commission of 1787 at Snow hill Warehouse in Worcester
County and
Commission issued to John Bradford appointed Inspector at Little-
neck landing Warehouse in Worcester County.
Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to John Davidson
Esqr. twelve pounds in part of one quarters Salary, due in February
last, Nineteen pounds, five shillings the Balance of said Quarter and
Thirty one pounds five shillings for one quarter's Salary due the
1st. Instant.
